This workshop is designed to equip you with the essential skills to confidently lead any classroom, whether you're a new teacher or a substitute stepping in. This session will focus on providing practical and well-tested strategies and resources to help you gear up for the start of the year.

- Learn practical strategies for establishing routines, handling disruptions, and fostering a positive learning environment
- Build a toolkit of instructional strategies for engaging students
- Learn “survival” and “backup plan” strategies for times when things don’t go as expected
- Receive ideas for resources to continue to help strengthen teaching
- Recognize the importance of and strategies for self-care
